Kits or rings only

The standard kit contains a piston, rings and piston pin. Ring-only sets are offered in standard size, +0.25mm and +0.50mm; they do not include a piston. Confirm the required size and the condition of the fitted piston and cylinder before choosing rings alone.

A stand for the rebuild

The engine rebuild stand is designed for SOHC CB750 engines and lists the 1975–78 CB750F. It is made in the USA, has a gloss-black powder-coated finish and provides pre-drilled base holes for workbench mounting.

Piston and ring questions

What if my 1975 F has a replacement engine?

The featured standard piston kit and these ring sets explicitly list the 1975 CB750F. Their separate 1976F application is restricted to engine serial numbers below 2551568. Identify the engine actually fitted and confirm the chosen piston or ring listing against it, rather than transferring the frame’s year to a replacement engine.

Are retaining clips included with the piston pin?

No. The featured standard kit supplies the piston, rings and piston pin but explicitly excludes piston-pin clips. The separate 15mm clip product replaces 94601-15000; confirm the required clips separately when completing the kit order.
