Honda CB Brake Caliper Rebuild Parts
Brake calipers convert hydraulic pressure into the clamping force applied to the brake pads. Age, moisture and corrosion can damage pistons, seals, bleed screws and sliding components, potentially causing leaks, restricted movement or uneven pad contact. Because calipers are part of a safety-critical system, fluid leakage, sticking pistons and damaged components should be corrected before the motorcycle is ridden.
This collection includes front and rear brake caliper rebuild kits, individual caliper pistons, piston sealing rings, bleed screws, protective caps, shaft boots, adjuster assemblies and service tools. Honda used different calipers across SOHC and DOHC CB models, including single- and dual-caliper arrangements. Piston diameter, seal dimensions, bleed-screw threads and kit contents must match the installed caliper. Caliper bores, hose connections, mounting hardware and brake pads should also be inspected when rebuilding the assembly.
Complete the braking system with the correct brake pads, shoes and hoses and inspect related master-cylinder parts and rebuild kits. Caliper-piston and bleeding equipment is available under brake, tire and wheel tools. Use the My Motorcycle selector to display caliper rebuild parts listed for your Honda CB model and year.
