Exhaust questions

Can the old headpipe gasket be reused after separating the joint?

Replace the crush gasket whenever its joint is disturbed. Remove the old gasket from the port before fitting the new one; follow the Honda procedure for the fitted exhaust.

Will a new collar cure a damaged pipe connection?

A collar cannot seal damaged pipe surfaces by itself. Inspect the adjoining pipes, gasket or seal, clamps and fasteners for distortion, corrosion and leakage.
