Planning a CB750F fuel-system order

A four-carburetor bike does not mean four of every product. Rebuild kits cover one carburetor each, while the holder set already supplies four holders. Check package contents before adding separate seals, valves or clamps.

Jet sizes supplied with the kit

The rebuild kit supplies a #105 main jet and a #40 pilot jet. The separate pilot-jet listing identifies #40 as the stock size for the 1975–76 CB750F. These are product and application references, not a guaranteed tune for changed carburetors, filters or exhausts.

Buying holders and clamps

One holder-set order supplies four holders. Band clamps are separate. Renewing clamps on both sides of all four holders requires eight of the listed 46–49mm clamps, part 15-0685; the clamp product is sold individually.

Fuel system questions

Does a rebuild kit replace the float as well as its valve?

The kit includes the float needle and seat, but its contents do not include the float itself. The separate replacement float is sold individually with its pin. Four floats are fitted to the complete carburetor bank; replace only the ones required for the repair.

Could I accidentally double-order the bowl gaskets or float valves?

Yes. Each rebuild kit already includes a float bowl gasket and a float needle-and-seat set. The separate gasket and valve products are for individual repairs or another carburetor, so compare the repair list with the kit contents before adding them.

Does one holder set also provide all the clamps?

No. The set supplies four holders. The holder listing specifies eight separate 46–49mm band clamps to renew both ends of every holder, while the clamp listing supplies one clamp per order unit.
