Honda CB Drive Chains and Rear-Wheel Adjusters
The final-drive chain transfers engine power from the countershaft sprocket to the rear wheel. Correct chain slack, lubrication and rear-wheel alignment help the drivetrain operate smoothly and reduce unnecessary wear on the chain, sprockets and related components. A chain with tight spots, damaged rollers, excessive stretch or seized links should be inspected carefully rather than corrected only by tightening the adjusters.
This collection includes high-tensile 530 and 630 drive chains, chain adjuster sets, connecting links, chain guards, mounting hardware and chain service tools. Chain pitch, width, link count and connecting-link design must match the motorcycle and installed sprockets. Adjusters position the rear axle and help align the rear wheel, but the marks on the swingarm should be treated as a starting reference. When a worn chain has damaged the sprocket teeth, replacing the chain without addressing worn sprockets can shorten the life of the new parts.
