Rebuild or replace the caliper

Compare the fitted caliper with the exact replacement application before choosing a rebuild kit or complete assembly. The complete front unit specifies a later single-disc caliper style with 51mm mounting spacing. Have the existing caliper assessed before deciding which parts can be retained.

Front and rear bleed parts differ

Bleed screw 43352-568-003 lists the 1975–78 CB750F rear caliper; its F-model front application starts in 1977. Do not select it for a 1975 front caliper simply because the model name appears in the application.

Complete assembly contents

The complete front caliper includes both body halves, brake pads, piston, piston seal, bleed screw, bleed-screw cap and bolts. It is sold individually. Check those supplied parts before adding a separate pad or piston order.

Caliper questions

Can I select the same piston for the front and rear?

The 42.8mm × 34mm piston is specified for the front and replaces 45107-392-003. The rear piston is a separate product, reference 43205-371-006, sold individually for the 1975–76 CB750F. Match the caliper position as well as the year.

Does the front rebuild kit include a new piston?

No. Kit 14-0506 supplies the sealing ring, two caliper bolts with washers, a bleed screw and cap, and an adjuster set with bolt, spring, washer and nut, but explicitly excludes the piston.
