MPH faces, not a KPH scale

Keep the original instruments and change the printed units to MPH. This set will not relabel them in KPH, and it includes no drive ratio. Remove the old printing on the plastic face first.

This set is miles, not kilometers

MPH versus KPH is the decision. These decals are MPH for the speedometer and tach together. They do not print kilometers or change needle drive, and no ratio is printed. A vintage dial at 60 km/h = 1400 rpm, or a mini at 100 KPH = 2330 rpm, is another instrument.

Open the gauges, or buy an instrument

Apply this only if you will open both gauges, clean the old printing off the plastic face, and cut the odometer and trip windows afterward. Mounting holes are already cut. The decal must sit on the original face to illuminate. A complete 2.25 in. or 85mm instrument is the other path.

MPH faces or a KPH instrument?

Is a KPH version of this face set described?

No. This set is MPH for the 1975-76 CB500T speedometer and tach. It will not print KPH. If the bike should show kilometers, choose an instrument with a KPH dial and match that ratio. This decal does not convert the face.

Why must the decal go on the original face?

The description says it must be applied over the original gauge face to illuminate. Disassembly of the speedometer and tach is required. Remove the original information printed on the plastic face first. Pre-cut mounting holes do not include the odometer and tripmeter openings.

Does this set include tank graphics?

No. This is only the MPH speedometer and tach face set. Tank decals for Glory Brown Metallic and Candy Antares Red are a separate piece for the paint, with no gauge scale. Use this set when the original dials should read miles.
