The intake valve and exhaust valve have separate replacement references. The guide options are also identified by intake or exhaust position. Have the head and related components assessed before ordering; a new valve alone does not establish the condition of its guide, seat or accompanying hardware.

Check guide condition before deciding on seals alone

The individual seal and Kibblewhite set address valve-stem sealing, but a new seal cannot correct excessive stem-to-guide clearance. Have the valves and guides assessed during the head inspection. Then compare seal quantities with the gasket sets already selected, which may also include valve-stem seals.

Common questions

Are the intake and exhaust valves interchangeable listings?

They are listed as separate valve types with different replacement references. Identify the position being serviced and compare the selected valve application with your engine and the cylinder head inspection findings before ordering.

Will new valve-stem seals correct worn valve guides?

No. The Kibblewhite seal information specifically distinguishes sealing from excessive stem-to-guide clearance. Have the valve stems, guides and seats checked before choosing the repair. Select the seals after confirming the guide arrangement and the other parts needed for the cylinder head.

Can I choose either replacement rocker arm?

The category contains separately identified rocker arm A and rocker arm B replacements. Compare the component and its original reference before selecting. Their descriptions identify Japanese-made replacements; the handle wording alone should not determine the specification.
