The rim and retainer hold the lamp securely; the screw and spring provide an adjustment point. Identify which part is damaged before ordering, especially if the original headlight bucket or lamp has been replaced.

The three-piece rim and retainer assembly includes mounting hardware, but it is not a complete lamp or electrical repair. The adjuster set supplies the screw and spring; a bent bracket or damaged threaded receiver needs separate attention.
Seat the lamp and retainer correctly, check that the wiring is not trapped, and confirm the assembly stays secure while adjusting it. Aim the beam using the service instructions and applicable local requirements. A secure rim does not correct low voltage or a faulty bulb.
Inspect the spring, receiver and lamp-retaining parts first. A missing or damaged screw may be the cause, but worn or broken mounting points can let the lamp move even with a new adjuster.
Only if the rim or retainer is damaged. For dim light, check the bulb or lamp unit, electrical supply, connections and ground. Cosmetic or mounting hardware does not repair an electrical voltage loss.
Do not assume so from the motorcycle’s model year. Compare the bucket and lamp maker’s mounting details with the original-style components before ordering.
