1971 Honda CB750K · Electrical Buying guide

Build the order around the circuit you are repairing

The early main loom, fuse box and right-hand control each have a specific application. Choosing by circuit keeps a wiring repair focused and helps separate a small missing component from a complete assembly replacement.

Follow the fault to the component

Use the appropriate service manual to diagnose the affected circuit before choosing replacements. A starter fault, failed indicator and damaged main loom require different parts. Keep a note of the existing connectors and mounting pieces so the order covers the repair you have identified.

Treat custom equipment as a separate choice

Electronic ignitions, replacement headlights and charging conversions can introduce their own requirements. Compare those instructions with the equipment already installed. The electrical category also contains standard-style service parts, so a shared category listing should not be treated as proof that every combination is compatible.

Questions about electrical

Which right-hand switch is listed for the 1971 CB750K?

The brake-side assembly listed for the 1971–72 CB750K has wiring routed inside the handlebar. Compare that arrangement with your bars and existing control. The separate early left-hand assembly describes external wiring.

Does the main loom fit every CB750 year?

The main harness description limits this loom to the 1969–71 CB750K and warns that other years and types use different references. Match the actual application and connectors before choosing it for a motorcycle with replacement equipment.

Are left and right contact points supplied together?

The left and right contact points are separate one-piece listings. Identify the side needed for the repair, or order both when servicing both positions.

Not sure which part you need?

Send your model and year, plus photos of your existing part and any changes to the original setup.
