1971 Honda CB750K · Starting & charging Buying guide
A starter brush set, starter clutch kit and complete motor address different parts of the starting system. Charging replacements add battery and mounting requirements, so build the order around the fault you have confirmed.

The service brush pair is specified for Mitsuba two-brush motors. The complete replacement starter featured here uses a different four-brush design. Identify the motor currently on the motorcycle before choosing brushes, rather than assuming every starter on a 1971 bike retains its original construction.
The separate rectifier is described for early systems retaining separate regulator and rectifier components. Combination units have their own mounting instructions, and the lithium-only version explicitly excludes standard lead-acid batteries. Match the chosen equipment and battery requirements without assuming all listed charging parts serve the same installation.
The brush listing specifies Mitsuba two-brush starters. The complete replacement motor describes a four-brush permanent magnet design. Those descriptions do not establish interchange; identify the fitted motor and confirm its required service parts before ordering.
Its description lists three rollers, three caps and three springs. Individual roller springs are also sold separately in this category. Compare the kit contents with the parts your diagnosed repair requires instead of assuming it replaces the whole clutch assembly.
The regulator listing specifies exclusive use with lithium-ion batteries and expressly excludes standard lead-acid batteries. The battery offered here is listed as AGM. Match the battery maker’s charging requirements; do not assume these two products belong together simply because both fitment lists include CB750K.
