The stripe options are not merely two interchangeable decorative colors. The black pattern is described for Candy Gold, and the gold pattern for Candy Ruby Red, Valley Green Metallic and Candy Garnet Brown. Compare the actual tank and desired restoration finish with the photographs before buying.

Do not apply instrument decals like tank stickers

The MPH faces require gauge disassembly and preparation of the original plastic faces. Mounting holes are pre-cut, but other openings are finished after application. Review the full gauge-decal instructions before planning that work alongside simpler adhesive-backed body or service labels.

Which tank finish uses black stripes?

The black stripe listing is specifically described for the 1971 Candy Gold model. Match the intended paint finish and the product photographs rather than choosing solely by the stripe color you prefer.

What is included in the warning-label package?

The eight pieces are information, battery, oil and exhaust labels, two helmet-holder labels, and black and white Preserve Nature labels. Review the product photographs and the original positions before placing them on the motorcycle.

Can the MPH face decals go on the outside of the glass?

No. The product method uses the original plastic gauge faces after disassembly and removal of their printed information. The required openings must then be completed as described; it is not an external glass sticker application.
