1971 Honda CB750K · Battery & fuses Buying guide

Check the complete battery installation, including its supports

The battery, hold-down band and fuse box are separate service choices. Use the specified dimensions and package contents, then inspect the box rubbers and cables to identify the smaller pieces that may also need replacement.

Use battery specifications alongside the fitment list

The AGM listing supplies voltage, capacity, CCA and physical dimensions, and asks buyers to double-check fit. Compare those details and terminal placement with the fitted motorcycle. If the charging equipment has been changed, also confirm the battery maker’s requirements before choosing a replacement.

Order mounting pieces by type and position

The top battery-box set contains one rubber, collar, bolt and washer. The individual B rubber is another listing, with four stated for the 1969–76 CB750K. Inspect which positions need attention rather than treating one hardware set as a complete battery-box rebuild.

Questions about battery & fuses

Do I need to add acid to the ATX14AHL battery?

The listing describes a fully sealed, pre-charged AGM battery ready for installation, with no acid or water maintenance required. Still compare its dimensions and electrical specification with your installation and follow the supplied battery instructions.

Does the battery-box top set include every rubber?

No. It lists one rubber, one collar, one bolt and one washer for the top section. Separate A and B rubbers are also available. Identify the locations being repaired and order the quantities stated for those positions.

Are spare fuses supplied with the early fuse box?

The complete 1969–72 CB750K fuse box description lists three extra fuses. Inspect the existing assembly and circuit first, then compare the replacement’s application. The included spares do not establish a different fuse rating for your motorcycle.
