Order the holders with the correct clamp plan

This is a four-holder package with reference 16211-460-770. It has a specific separate-clamp requirement, so count the serviceable clamps already on the motorcycle before ordering replacements.

Keep the side of the carburetor clear

These holders connect on the engine side of the carburetors. Compare the old holder profile and reference before removal, especially when the bank has been changed. Do not use an airbox-boot shopping list to choose these engine-side rubbers.

Check clamp requirements now

The set calls for eight 50–52 mm band clamps, or eight of the specified gear-clamp alternative. They are separate from the four holders. Inspect the original clamp condition and adjustment range so the repair is not held up by missing attachment hardware.

Ordering questions

Can new holders alone cure an intake leak or poor running?

Check the carburetor and engine connections, clamp condition and rack alignment as well as the rubber. Seat the holders squarely, check for intake leaks and synchronize the carburetors using the correct service procedure. New rubber cannot correct damaged mating parts or unsuitable clamps.

Which clamps does this set require?

The documented option is eight 50–52 mm band clamps, with a named gear-clamp alternative also available separately. Match the actual holder setup and reuse only suitable, serviceable clamps.

Will these fit a different carburetor bank?

The set is listed for the 1981–82 standard CB650 application. A swapped bank needs its own fitment check; compare connection details rather than assuming every CB650 holder is interchangeable.
