Read the contents before calling a kit complete

Two carburetor rebuild kits are listed for 1970, but their contents differ. The standard kit includes a #110 main jet; the deluxe kit includes #120 and #140 main jets. Review the fitted carburetors and service requirements rather than treating either kit as a universal selection.

Keep tank service separate from intake changes

Identify the fitted cap and valve before selecting tank seals. At the intake, a stock filter element, airbox boot and clamp-on pod serve different arrangements. If the airbox is being removed, confirm carburetor support, inlet dimensions and the required tuning work before choosing the replacement intake parts.

Why are two carb rebuild kits shown for 1970?

Their stated model ranges overlap at 1970, but their jet contents differ. Both rebuild one carburetor. Compare the fitted carburetors and the full contents of each kit, then confirm the appropriate choice if the setup is uncertain.

Does the primer-grey replacement tank include a cap and petcock?

The primer-grey reproduction tank excludes the cap, petcock, emblems and other accessories. Compare the fittings you intend to reuse with that tank’s listing. Other tank packages can have different contents, so apply these exclusions to this specific tank rather than every tank in the category.

Are all these items for an original intake?

No. The category includes stock-type elements and airbox boots alongside clamp-on filters. Identify the arrangement on your motorcycle first. Retaining the airbox and removing it require different parts and checks; a pod-filter purchase does not by itself settle carburetor support or tuning.
