The front pad listing states a locating pin, a locating tab and the dimensions of both pads. Compare those details with the fitted caliper components, especially where an older motorcycle may have received different front brake parts. A similar outline alone is not enough.

Match each hose to its endpoints

Hose A is the 13.75-inch section from the three-way joint to the front brake pipe. Hose B is the 15-inch section from the master cylinder to the three-way joint. Compare the fitted routing and connections before ordering either section.

Questions that help you choose

What should be checked while replacing the rear brake shoes?

Have the drum surface and service-limit diameter checked along with the return springs, brake cam and pivots. New shoes do not correct a worn drum or binding linkage. Follow the Honda inspection and adjustment procedure, and confirm that the rear brake releases without drag before riding.

Which hose connects to the master cylinder?

Hose B is the 15-inch master-cylinder-to-three-way-joint section. Hose A is the separate lower section. Trace the line being replaced before choosing from the length alone.

What if the bike has a single replacement brake line?

Identify the line’s two endpoints and fittings before ordering. The original-style A and B sections are specified for a split arrangement with a three-way joint, so a changed layout needs its own hose match.
