1975 Honda CB500T Steering Stem Nut and Caps

Nut, washer, bolts, or fork caps

Order the 30mm nut and the stem washer separately when the old hardware is worn. Use the two-bolt set only when the stem bolts are the failed pieces. Black billet fork caps replace the top cap, not the stem nut.

Three stem pieces, three numbers

Use the 30mm chrome nut, 90304-415-000, when the stem hex is worn, and washer 90503-283-000 with it. Both are sold each and both name the 1975-76 CB500T. The bolt set is two bolts, 92101-10040-0A, and two washers, 94102-10000. Do not swap those washers for the stem washer.

O-rings, black caps, or the stock-type bolt

Cap O-rings are a set of two under 94608-50000 and name the 1975-76 CB500T. Joker caps are a black billet pair with O-rings, lighter than stock, made in the USA, replacing 90123-300-000. The 35mm bolt is sold each, includes an O-ring, and uses that same number. Fit the bolt or the black caps, not both.

Stem nut, washer, or fork cap?

Does the nut include the washer?

No. The chrome nut is sold each, and the description says the matching washer is separate. That washer replaces 90503-283-000 and is also sold each. Both pieces name the 1975-76 CB500T. Order the quantity of each that you removed.

Are the bolt-set washers the stem washer?

No. The bolt set includes two washers under 94102-10000 and two bolts under 92101-10040-0A. The chrome stem washer is 90503-283-000. Use the stem washer with the 30mm nut. Use the bolt set when the stem bolts are worn.

Do the black fork caps replace the stem nut?

No. The black caps replace 90123-300-000, come as a pair with O-rings, and are CNC billet, lighter than stock, made in the USA. They name the 1975-76 CB500T. The stem nut is the 30mm chrome hex under 90304-415-000.
