The float replaces 16013-283-004 and includes the pin, sold one at a time. The drain screw includes an O-ring, one per bowl. The screw kit only refreshes how the carburetor hardware looks.

Replace your CB500T or CB450/CL450 carb float with this Carb Float with Pin, replacing OEM #16013-283-004.Sold each, order the quantity your bike requires.Key Features•...
A sunk float, a weeping bowl plug, and dull carb screws are three different orders. Match the Honda number on the float, and buy one drain screw for each bowl you are servicing.
Fuel climbing up the overflow is not automatically a bad float. A punctured float or a missing pin is 16013-283-004, and the pin comes with that float. A grooved needle tip is the valve set 16011-302-004, which is not this part. Replace the one you can see is worn instead of buying both on a guess.
The drain screw is a small leak of its own
A wet seam at the bottom of the bowl is often the drain plug, not the float. This screw includes a new O-ring and is sold one at a time. Open one bowl at a time if you are chasing a single drip, and replace both screws only when both plugs are seeping or the O-rings are hard.
Float and bowl questions
Does the float include the pin?
Yes. The float for 16013-283-004 is sold with the pin. You do not need a separate pin for that float. You still need the needle and seat if that valve is worn, because those pieces are not on this float.
How many drain screws does one bowl take?
One screw per bowl. The part is sold one at a time and includes the O-ring. Order two only when you are resealing both carburetors on the twin.
Will the screw kit change how the carbs run?
No. It is a hardware set for the look of the carburetors on the 1975-76 CB500T and related CB500 and CB550 models. Jetting, the float, and the needle stay on their own parts.
Not sure which part you need?
Send your model and year, plus photos of your existing part and any changes to the original setup.
