1980 Honda CB650C Custom · Electrical Parts Buying guide
The coil’s attached wires, the switch’s keyed assembly and the regulator’s two plugs describe three different purchases. Compare their individual references and contents with the fitted parts rather than assuming one model listing verifies every modified-system connection.

Rick’s coil 24-6011 is sold individually, with wires attached, and references 30500-422-003 / 30500-422-013. Its record does not establish spark-plug cap inclusion or primary resistance. Switch 12-0051 is a separate ignition and fork-lock assembly supplied with keys.
Regulator 24-2030 references 31600-460-731 / 31600-426-000. It has five wires in a six-prong housing and three in a four-prong housing. Compare the occupied wire positions as well as the two housing shapes.
The switch listing confirms keys for its ignition and fork-lock assembly only. It does not promise a match to a separate seat or helmet lock. Confirm a key-matching solution before ordering if retaining one-key operation matters.
The regulator listing gives its connections and replacement references but no battery-chemistry compatibility or charging-voltage limits. Obtain the regulator manufacturer’s specification and compare it with the fitted battery’s requirements before choosing it for a converted setup.
