The 1980 CB650C fuse-box selection includes a complete assembly with 10A fuses and a separate cover-screw pair. Inspect the wiring and mounting before ordering. A damaged fuse holder, a missing cover fastener and a circuit that repeatedly blows a fuse need different attention.

Choose an intact fuse holder and the right fasteners
The complete assembly replaces reference 38200-425-005. Its installed 10A fuses describe the supplied package; use the motorcycle’s specified circuit protection and investigate any fault rather than choosing a larger fuse.
Heat damage, loose contacts or broken mounting can make a fuse box unsuitable for reuse. Match the complete assembly’s application and connector, then check the associated wiring. A new holder alone does not identify the cause of repeated fuse failure.
Read clearance condition carefully
Another fuse box in the category is specifically described as having damaged mounting tabs. The selected complete assembly is the ordinary product. Do not confuse a discounted damaged-mount version with the condition of the standard item when comparing choices.
Fuse Box & Cover Screws questions
What needs checking before a replacement fuse box is energized?
Disconnect the battery, then inspect the old box, terminals and nearby harness for heat damage, corrosion, loose connections or pinched wiring. Correct the underlying fault before energizing the replacement.
How many cover screws are in the separate set?
Two black screws, replacing reference 93700-05020-0G. Compare the cover and existing threads before choosing them for a missing-fastener repair.
What should I do if a fuse keeps blowing?
Use only the rating specified for that circuit and motorcycle. Repeated fuse failure calls for diagnosis of a short, overload or component fault; do not fit a larger fuse to mask it.
