Stock-style still needs a visual check

The stock-style MPH speedometer has a 0–120 MPH dial and specifies 60 MPH = 2240 RPM. The tachometer is 4:1 with a 0–12,000 RPM dial. Both descriptions warn that the face may differ from some original years, so compare appearance as well as the fitted drive.

Plan the complete custom mounting arrangement

The all-black mini tachometer is a 2.25-inch mechanical unit with LED-type illumination. Its V-plate is included, but the mounting bracket is required separately. Check the available space, drive connection and illumination arrangement before ordering the smaller gauge.

Common questions

Does the 4:1 mini tachometer use an electronic engine-speed signal?

It is specified as a mechanical-drive tachometer. Match it to the fitted mechanical drive and cable arrangement; LED-type illumination describes its lighting, not an electronic engine-speed input.

Will stock-style gauges exactly reproduce my original faces?

The descriptions warn that face designs changed between years. Compare the dial markings and appearance before ordering if a close visual match to your existing 1973 cluster matters.

Does the mini tachometer include its mounting bracket?
