1973 Honda CB750K · Decals Buying guide
Plan tank paint and striping together, then check the separate warning-label set against the small labels you need. The 1973 stripes require a painted black area and a join at one end.
Paint the large black area inside the stripe outline before applying the tank decals. The stripes also need to be joined carefully at one end. Allow for both steps when planning the tank finish; the decals do not supply that black panel.
The eight-piece service set includes Important Information, Caution: Battery, two Helmet Holder labels, Exhaust Modification, Engine Oil Capacity, and Preserve Nature in both black and white. Those two colour versions are supplied options, not proof of your motorcycle’s original label colour.
No. The large black area inside the tank stripes must be painted before stripe application. The decals supply the striping, including a join that must be made carefully at one end.
It supplies both a black and a white Preserve Nature label. Compare your restoration references before selecting one; the set contents do not identify which colour was originally on your particular bike.
Both products are adhesive-backed reproductions. Follow the application instructions for the chosen decals, and complete the tank’s required paint work before applying its stripes.
