1973 Honda CB750K · Carb Rebuild & Jetting Buying guide

Separate carburetor repairs from jet selection

Decide whether you need a full single-carburetor kit or a narrower seal, float-valve or jet order. The supplied #110 main and #40 pilot are package contents, not proof of the correct setup for altered carburetors.

Buy the rebuild scope you need

The single-carburetor kit covers jets, the needle and seat, gaskets, O-rings and adjusting pieces. A separate float valve or bowl gasket may suit a smaller repair. Compare the work required before duplicating those parts in a full-kit order.

Select jets by specification

The Keihin main-jet assortment contains four each of #105, #110, #115 and #120. The separate #40 pilot-jet pack contains four jets, specified at 28 mm high and 5.5 mm outside diameter. Compare jet type and dimensions as well as the stamped number.

Common questions

Which jets are supplied in the rebuild kit?

A #110 main jet and a #40 pilot jet. Those are the kit’s supplied sizes; identify the installed carburetors and intended intake/exhaust setup before deciding to use them.

How many rebuild kits should I order?

One kit rebuilds one carburetor. Order for the number being serviced and check the contents against any separate gasket, needle-and-seat or jet purchases.

Is the number 40 enough to identify the pilot jet?

Compare the jet’s physical form too. The offered four-pack is #40 with a stated 28 mm height and 5.5 mm outside diameter. A matching number alone does not confirm that an unknown carburetor uses this jet type.

Not sure which part you need?

Send your model and year, plus photos of your existing part and any changes to the original setup.
