List the fittings you will reuse

The primer-grey replacement tank excludes the cap, petcock, emblems and accessories. Plan the paint finish and check which existing fittings are suitable to transfer. A new shell does not settle the condition or identity of those retained parts.

Identify the petcock before choosing a seal

The petcock body seal is specifically for a stock OEM valve and seals its joint with the tank. The gas-cap seal is a separate part under reference 17534-323-300. Match the leaking joint and the fitted valve or cap before selecting either.

Common questions

What is excluded from the replacement tank?

The cap, petcock, emblems and accessories are excluded. The tank arrives in primer grey, so include finishing and the fittings you cannot reuse in the repair plan.

Can the body O-ring be used with any petcock?

No universal seal fit is established. The body O-ring is specified for stock OEM petcocks. Confirm an aftermarket valve’s seal requirements before using this part, even if the motorcycle year matches.

Does the petcock screw set contain sealing washers?

Yes. It contains two chrome-plated screws and two fibre washers. Compare the existing attachment with the set before ordering loose screws or washers that duplicate those contents.
