Valve and rocker references

Intake valve 01-9920 replaces 14711-300-005; exhaust valve 01-9921 replaces 14721-300-005. Both list the 1975–76 F. Rocker arm A is a separate component replacing 14431-300-030; identify the exact part required before ordering.

Individual hardware quantities

Genuine Honda cotter 14781-551-000 is sold per piece. Stock-type stem seal 01-0131 is also sold individually. Order the quantities required for the repair.

Valvetrain questions

Do the Kibblewhite springs require titanium retainers?

Spring set 73-1015 is designed to work with the OEM retainer and spring base. The supplier does not state that titanium retainers are required. Confirm the complete spring and retainer combination selected for the head.

Does the Kibblewhite intake guide need an OEM-style guide clip?

Guide 73-1020 lists the 1975–76 F and is explicitly a shoulder-style design that does not use separate OEM-style valve-guide clips. Check the chosen guide design before adding clips to a head-work order.

Should I add stem seals when buying an overhaul gasket set?

Overhaul set 18-0441 already lists eight 01-0131 valve stem seals. The separately offered Kibblewhite 73-1018 set supplies eight red 100% Viton seals. Choose that separate set when it is the seal specification wanted, rather than automatically duplicating the seals supplied with the gasket set.
