1975 Honda CB750F · Sprockets Buying guide

Final drive gearing as listed

The offered front sprocket has 17 teeth and the rear has 48, both specified for a 530 chain setup. Check the fitted tooth counts and chain length before ordering, as both product descriptions advise.

Regeared bikes

Record the installed tooth counts and chain specification before choosing replacement sprockets. The offered 17-tooth front and 48-tooth rear both list the 1975–76 CB750F, but a previous gearing change can affect the parts needed for the current setup.

Fastening the rear sprocket

The rear stud set supplies four 12 × 54mm studs and four nuts, replacing references 90128-341-000 and 94030-12000. The separate tongued lock-washer product replaces 94108-17000 and is supplied as a two-pack; confirm the quantity required by the fitted assembly.

Sprocket questions

Can these sprockets be used with a 630 chain conversion?

No. The offered 17-tooth front and 48-tooth rear sprockets are both specified for 530 chain. The supplier warns against mixing 530 and 630 components. Confirm the chain type, tooth counts and chain length already fitted before choosing replacement parts.

Can the old sprocket locking hardware be reused?

Inspect it before deciding. The supplier says to replace a front lock plate that is bent, cracked, worn at the bolt holes or no longer locks securely. Rear tongued washers with damaged or fatigued tabs also need replacement. The front plate-and-bolt set and rear washer pack are separate products; follow the Honda locking procedure for the fitted assembly.
