Part 17-2812 names 18291-254-000 and 18291-MM5-860; part 18-7013 names 18291-MM5-860. Their descriptions overlap on that Honda reference and do not provide a material or dimensional comparison that establishes either as an upgrade.
The flange clamp replaces 18231-392-000. The genuine Honda collar is 18233-392-000 and is sold per collar piece. The stated four-clamp requirement does not establish the number of collar pieces needed.
Replace the crush gasket whenever its joint is disturbed. Remove the old gasket from the port before fitting the new one; follow the Honda procedure for the fitted exhaust.
A collar cannot seal damaged pipe surfaces by itself. Inspect the adjoining pipes, gasket or seal, clamps and fasteners for distortion, corrosion and leakage.
