Joining the tank stripes

Both tank-set descriptions say the stripes are supplied in one piece and require careful joining at one corner. Discuss that join with the person applying the decals before committing to the paint and decal work.

Restoring the labels

The nine-piece set includes Important Information, Chain Adjustment, Battery Caution, two Helmet Holder labels, Exhaust Modification, Engine Oil Capacity and black and white Preserve Nature labels. The product description does not establish the correct location for every label on a particular market version.

Decal questions

Are the tank sets complete with the warning labels?

No. Each tank set contains two half-circular stripes and two Super Sport decals; its product FAQ excludes warning labels. Those are supplied in the separate nine-piece warning and service label set.

Does the stripe go on without a join?

No. Each stripe is supplied as one piece, but its description calls for careful joining at one corner. Plan that join during alignment before exposing the adhesive.

Does the protective coating establish clear-coat compatibility?

No compatible clear-coat system is specified. The product FAQs call for testing the complete paint, decal and clear-coat system; the stated scratch- and UV-resistant coating does not establish that an added clear coat is suitable.
