1975 Honda CB750F · Starter & charging Buying guide
Select repair parts for the starter actually fitted, then compare charging components by their electrical interface, battery requirements and mounting space. A replacement motor and a brush set can have different internal designs despite sharing the same motorcycle application.

The stock-style stator and US-made Rick’s Premium stator both list 31102-300-045, 31102-300-035, 31102-393-025, 31102-393-005 and 31102-393-015. Neither description supplies a higher-output rating for the Premium unit. Match the replacement references and test the charging system before selecting a stator.
Universal regulator 24-2032 is specified for a three-phase A-type field-excited alternator with both brushes or both field leads insulated from ground. Confirm that interface for the fitted system before choosing this unit.
The separate set is for a Mitsuba two-brush starter: two 12 × 14 × 6 mm brushes, one with insulated leads and one with non-insulated leads. Rick’s complete replacement motor uses a four-brush design. That shared CB750 application does not establish that the two-brush set services the replacement motor.
No. Rick’s OEM-style unit 24-2109 has stock-type plugs but may require custom mounting. Its published dimensions are 68 × 94 × 26 mm with mounting holes 80 mm centre-to-centre. Check the available mounting space as well as the connectors.
Unit 24-2011 is lithium-only, with a stated set point of 14 V ±0.2 V. Confirm that this voltage is correct for the chosen battery. The unit is expressly excluded from use with standard lead-acid batteries.
