Choose electrical parts for the ignition and charging system fitted
A 1975 CB750F may still have points ignition or may have been converted. Identify the ignition and battery chemistry before choosing coils or a regulator; the parts offered here have different compatibility requirements.
The Ultimate high-output coil is restricted to aftermarket electronic ignition and is not compatible with points. The Dyna S module is offered for stock coils or coils with at least 3 Ω primary resistance; that requirement should not be applied to every other ignition system.
Harness made for this model
The main harness replaces 32100-392-000 and is listed only for the 1975–76 CB750F. A shared CB750 name does not establish interchangeability with a K-model or a later F harness.
Electrical questions
Do stock-type regulator plugs guarantee a direct mounting fit?
No. The Rick’s OEM-style unit includes stock-type plugs but warns that custom mounting may be needed. Its body is 68 × 94 × 26mm with 80mm between mounting-hole centres, so compare the space and mounting points as well as the connectors.
Does the Dyna S include a replacement mechanical spark advancer?
No. The Dyna S module works with the original mechanical advancer. Its module-only package excludes coils and spark-plug wires, so check the retained advancer and the condition and compatibility of those parts when planning a conversion.
What must I check before choosing the lithium regulator?
The lithium-only Rick’s unit has a stated set point of 14V ±0.2V. Its instructions in the product description ask you to confirm that this suits your battery; it is expressly excluded for standard lead-acid batteries.
