Confirm what comes with the chrome cover

The chrome-cover listing identifies the cover but does not itemize screws or a diaphragm. Confirm the supplied contents if your repair also needs those pieces, rather than assuming the cover package matches the larger reservoir kit.

Check the replacement switch and hydraulic interfaces

The black assembly has an integrated brake-light switch with two small spade connectors. Compare those connections with the motorcycle wiring, and have its hydraulic suitability, hose connection and lever clearance checked before substitution.

Ordering questions

What happens if the old reservoir diaphragm plate is missing?

The four-screw reservoir kit instructs you to reuse the diaphragm plate from the old master cylinder. Resolve a missing or unusable plate before relying on this package to complete the reservoir repair.

Can I buy a diaphragm without the larger reservoir package?

The separate diaphragm replaces 45520-422-026, 45520-422-006 or 45520-422-016. Compare it with the fitted reservoir and inspect the retained parts before choosing that narrower repair.

Will the chrome cover fit an aftermarket reservoir?

That is not established by the motorcycle application. Compare the actual cover mounting and sealing interface with the replacement reservoir; a four-screw description alone does not prove interchangeability.
