Choose the side and review the wiring route

Identify the faulty function before replacing a whole switch housing. Check the controls, connectors and wiring using the CB900F diagram, then compare the left or right assembly. Both replacement switches route their wiring outside the handlebar.

Keep left and right references separate

The left assembly replaces 35200-460-671, 35200-425-672 or 35200-445-671. The right replaces 35130-461-770 or 35130-463-670. These are separate side-specific listings, so choose the control needed rather than assuming one assembly purchase supplies both sides.

Check routing through the full steering range

Changed bars can stretch or trap the switch loom. Compare the external route and connector positions, leave the required movement at the steering head and keep wires clear of pinch points. Use the switch instructions and wiring diagram rather than joining wires only by color.

Handlebar Switches questions

Does a failed horn or turn signal prove the left switch is faulty?

No. Check the affected lamp or horn circuit, its power supply and connections as well as the switch contacts. Use the wiring diagram and continuity checks to identify the fault before replacing the complete left assembly.

Can these switches use the wiring route inside my handlebars?

Both listings specify wiring outside the handlebar. Compare the fitted bars and required external route before ordering. Do not force the loom through an unsuitable opening or let it pull tight at steering lock.

Is a matching plug shape enough after a harness change?

No. Check each terminal function and the required switch reference against the correct diagram and replacement instructions. Modified wiring can place a different circuit in a similar connector.
