Treat AGM as a sealed battery

Do not add acid or water to this supplied-sealed battery. Follow its charging instructions instead of applying the old flooded-battery topping-up procedure. Check the correct fuse rating for the year and circuit, and diagnose a repeated blown fuse rather than fitting a higher-rated one.

Why might a new battery still crank the engine slowly?

Check battery charge, cable and ground connections, and the starter circuit under load. Excessive resistance or a starter fault can remain after the battery is changed.

Does this battery need acid or distilled water before use?
