Separate rubber wear from lever damage

The chrome-plated steel gear lever includes its rubber. The footrest-rubber package contains two pieces; kickstarter rubber is a separate replacement. Compare the part being renewed before adding a second rubber to a complete lever order.

Read custom controls as a separate project

The TC Bros. kit uses a front motor-mount attachment on one side and a frame U-bolt on the other. Its description still requires a tab welded to the stock brake pedal and a separately sold linkage kit. Review those requirements with the included mounting instructions before choosing the conversion.

Questions before you buy

How many footrest rubbers are in the set?

The footrest-rubber package contains two rubbers, with references 50661-310-000 / 50661-312-000 / 50661-000-000. Compare the fitted footrests before treating the pair as replacements for a different footrest design.

Does bolt-on forward-control mounting mean no welding is needed?

No. Although the frame attachments are described as bolt-on, the kit requires a small tab welded to the stock brake pedal for the linkage rods. Plan that work before ordering the conversion.

Does the forward controls kit include everything for its linkage?

No. The linkage kit is explicitly sold separately from the TC Bros. controls. Check the named matching linkage and the brake-pedal tab requirement together before treating the controls package as a complete conversion order.
