The reproduction tank is supplied in primer grey and excludes the cap, petcock, emblems and other accessories. Decide which fitted items you plan to reuse and compare their condition with the relevant listings. This makes the tank purchase easier to review as a complete project.

Choose seals by the fitted cap and valve

The early cap rubber seal lists 1969–71 CB750K applications. The petcock body-to-tank O-ring has a separate restriction to stock OEM petcocks. Compare the actual fittings, especially when a previous owner has replaced the tank, cap or fuel valve with aftermarket parts.

Is the reproduction fuel tank ready with all its fittings?

No. It is supplied in primer grey and the listing excludes the gas cap, petcock, emblems and other accessories. Review the fittings you already have and the separate parts required before planning the tank replacement.

What comes with the chrome latch assembly?

The chrome gas cap latch assembly includes the latch, return spring, mounting pin and C-clip. It is a latch assembly rather than a complete cap, so compare the cap and its remaining hardware before ordering.

How do I select the correct petcock gasket?

Identify the fitted valve and the sealing point first. The body-to-tank O-ring listing requires a stock OEM petcock; a separate petcock gasket is also listed. Compare the product descriptions rather than choosing only by the motorcycle year.
