Inspect the fuse-box connector and mounts on your 1980 CB650 before choosing a complete replacement or small cover-hardware repair. The regular assembly includes 10-amp fuses. Cover screws are a separate pair, and a clearance version in the grid has disclosed mounting-tab damage.

Choose between the assembly and its cover fasteners
A broken or missing cover screw is a smaller repair than replacing the electrical holder. Identify the damaged area and compare the connector and mounting arrangement before choosing either product.
The featured fuse box references 38200-425-005 and includes 10-amp fuses. Compare it with the existing connector and mounts. The clearance product is a different purchase decision because its tabs are disclosed as damaged or missing; do not overlook that condition.
Use the screw pair for a focused repair
The black cover screws replace reference 93700-05020-0G and come two per set. Inspect the receiving threads and cover before replacing only the fasteners. Use the wiring information to identify any electrical problem separately from damaged cover hardware.
Ordering questions
What should I do if a fuse keeps blowing?
Use only the rating specified for that circuit and motorcycle. Repeated fuse failure calls for diagnosis of a short, overload or component fault; do not fit a larger fuse to mask it.
What needs checking before a replacement fuse box is energized?
Disconnect the battery, then inspect the old box, terminals and nearby harness for heat damage, corrosion, loose connections or pinched wiring. Correct the underlying fault before energizing the replacement.
Why does the clearance fuse box need another check?
Its mounting tabs are disclosed as damaged or missing. Account for that condition and the mounting requirements before treating it as equivalent to the regular assembly featured here.
