Ordering questions

Can I reuse a port gasket after removing the headpipe?

Honda’s Common Service Manual calls for a new exhaust-pipe gasket whenever the pipe is removed from the engine. Include a replacement for each opened port connection and use the model-specific manual for assembly and tightening.

Will a new stud set fix damaged cylinder-head threads?

No. Inspect the head threads before installing replacement studs. The stud supplier calls for proper extraction methods for seized hardware rather than forcing it in the aluminum head, followed by the specified installation depth and even flange-nut tightening. Resolve damaged threads before relying on new hardware.

What should I verify with an aftermarket exhaust?

Compare the engine-port attachment and gasket specification with the exhaust manufacturer’s requirements. The motorcycle application alone does not verify every altered pipe flange or mounting arrangement.
