The kit includes the sealing ring, caliper bolts, bleed screw and cap, plus adjuster hardware. Compare it with the individual pieces already in your order. The replacement piston is offered separately.
The separate piston description provides diameter and length, which are useful checks against the removed component. Those dimensions do not replace identifying the caliper itself. Have its condition and required repair assessed, and use the service manual for the appropriate inspection and service specifications.
Compare the parts needing replacement with the kit’s contents. It combines seal, bleed and adjuster components; the individual listings allow a narrower order when those other pieces are being retained.
Identify the caliper fitted, including any markings and the existing piston dimensions. Use that assembly’s application when choosing internal parts; the motorcycle’s 1970 year does not establish the caliper’s identity.
The replacement piston listing specifies both 38.15mm diameter and 34mm length. Use both stated dimensions as comparison points and confirm the caliper application. Choose based on the fitted component rather than only one measurement or the motorcycle year.
