The 1969 Honda CB750K instrument selection brings together cable replacements, early gauge clamps and rubbers, face parts and custom gauges. Identify what is actually fitted before ordering: stock instrument restoration and installing a custom gauge call for different checks.

Keep early gauge repairs focused on the right component
Start with the cable, mounting support or face component that needs attention. Early clamp and rubber listings are separate from custom instruments, which require their own mounting and drive checks before they are selected.
The stock-style speedometer and tachometer clamps are listed for 1969–72 and their hardware is separate. The meter rubber is another item, with one used at each gauge. Compare the fitted clamps and supporting parts before ordering a complete group simply because one component is worn.
Distinguish faces from complete gauges
The 1969–70 MPH decals require the original gauge faces and instrument disassembly. The KM/H plate set is a different product and does not include jewels. Custom complete gauges have separate mounting requirements; changing face markings alone should not be treated as a confirmed instrument conversion.
Tach & Speedo questions
Are the early speedometer and tachometer clamps the same item?
No. Separate stock-style clamps are listed for the speedometer and tachometer, both with 1969–72 CB750K applications. Their descriptions say hardware is supplied separately, so select the clamp position and associated hardware deliberately.
Do custom gauges use the stock mounting arrangement?
The custom vintage-style speedometer and tachometer listings explicitly require custom mounting. Check their dimensions, drive specifications and connection details before ordering. Their presence in this model category does not make them direct replacements for the early stock instruments.
What should I check before buying face decals?
Confirm the instrument is the matching 1969–70 type and uses the intended MPH display. The decals rely on the original face for blue-green illumination and require disassembly, so read the complete preparation notes before choosing them.
