Some dreams never fade. For this proud CB750 owner, it took over five decades — but the ride was well worth it.
“I was a junior in high school back in 1971, and the CB750 was the bike. I couldn’t stop staring at it in magazines and showrooms — and even kept a poster of one in my locker during my time in the Army. At $1.25 an hour, there was no way I could afford it then. Life moved on… but the dream never really left.”
Now, in 2025, that dream has become a reality.
Meet his 1971 Honda CB750 — a true survivor. Not fully restored, and proudly wearing a few time-earned imperfections, this bike tells its own story through every detail.
Originally from Pennsylvania, the CB made its way to California in 2013 and finally landed in the hands of its current (and third) owner in 2025.

Despite many bikes coming and going over the decades — including a well-ridden '69 Bonneville — this CB750 is different.
“This one’s the dream I never gave up on. 54 years later, and she’s finally mine. One more BUCKET LIST item checked off.”
Owning this CB750 isn’t just crossing off a bucket list item — it’s reclaiming a piece of my past and finally giving that high school kid his dream. And that, to me, makes every mile even more meaningful.
