I bought my Honda in1976 completely stock, and have riden her every summer except for one for the past 49 years. I would take her apart every winter to modify a part of her until I got her the way she is now.
Runs great with 210,000 miles. I made the mistake of trying a different head this year, and I'm leaking some oil from the rocker arm cover, so l guess I'll pull out the engine again this winter. It'll be about the twentieth time I've done so. At 68 years old it now takes me 2 hours, but I've got the time, I'm retired.
