1980 Honda CB650C Custom — Soupapes et composants de distribution
Intake and exhaust valves for the 1980 CB650C have different references and jobs. Decide which positions need attention after inspection, then choose the correct valve and stem-seal package. The Kibblewhite option supplies eight seals rather than an unspecified engine quantity.

Replace your valve stem seals with this Valve Stem Seal, replacing OEM #12209-333-005.Sold each, order the quantity you require.Key Features• Valve stem seal• Replaces...
The intake valve uses reference 14711-426-003 and the exhaust valve 14721-426-003. The eight-piece Viton stem-seal set is a separate sealing choice, not a set of replacement valves.
Both featured valves are Japanese-made replacements for the listed CB650 application, but their references are different. Keep removed parts identified by position and have the cylinder head evaluated before deciding whether valves alone address the wear. Each valve is sold individually; four intake valves and four exhaust valves replace all eight positions.
Choose seal material and package deliberately
The Kibblewhite set contains eight 100% Viton stem seals and is listed against reference 12209-333-005. Select the package by confirmed contents and the work being done; do not add another seal set automatically when buying a broader repair package.
Valves & Stem Seals questions
What else should be checked when a valve is replaced?
Inspect the valve seat, spring, retainer and keepers; for an exhaust valve, also check installed height. Have the seat machined as needed, then set cam timing and valve clearance to Honda specifications after assembly.
How many seals are in the Kibblewhite set?
Eight valve stem seals. The listed material is 100% Viton. Count this confirmed package quantity when checking whether your cylinder-head order duplicates another set.
Will new valves or stem seals correct worn valve guides?
Measure valve-stem-to-guide clearance and have excessive guide wear corrected. New valves or stem seals do not establish that the guides are serviceable.
