1980 Honda CB650 · Headlamp Retaining Parts Buying guide
Inspect rim retention and aiming hardware separately
The three-piece rim assembly includes hardware. The headlight setting collar is identified by reference 61304-292-000, while the adjusting screw and spring form a separate set. Match the removed fitting to the appropriate reference before ordering.
The set provides three pieces with hardware and a chrome outer ring. Compare the existing lamp’s retaining arrangement rather than assuming an aftermarket shell uses the same pieces. A damaged adjuster can also be checked against the separate screw-and-spring option.
Order the small service pieces separately
Collar 61304-292-000 is used with a headlight-rim retaining screw and is sold individually; it is different from the collars at the sides of the headlight case. The separate aiming set contains one screw and one spring, replacing 33103-346-670 and 33107-300-003. Match each removed piece to its own function and reference.
Ordering questions
What is supplied with the rim assembly?
It is a three-piece rim and retainer set with hardware and a chrome outer trim ring. Compare the fitted shell before ordering, particularly if the headlight has been replaced.
Does the adjusting screw include its spring?
Yes. One screw and one spring are included in the adjusting set. Compare the old adjustment point and references before selecting the pair for a lamp that may have been changed.
Are the setting collars supplied as a pair?
The selected setting collar is sold individually. Match the removed collar and reference, then count the missing or damaged pieces needed for your repair.
