1980 Honda CB650 · Fork Seals & Retaining Rings Buying guide
The oil-seal set has a stated 35 × 48 × 10.5/11mm size. The dust seals and metal stopper rings are each separate two-piece products for the parts found worn or damaged.

Tube diameter does not describe every oil-seal dimension. Compare 35 × 48 × 10.5/11mm with the old seal and the fork specification. If the front end has been replaced, identify that assembly before relying on the motorcycle’s original year.
The dust-seal package contains two pieces, and the stopper-ring package contains two metal rings fitted above the oil seals. Inspect those retained components and choose replacements by condition. Follow the correct service procedure for the fitted fork.
The listing gives the combined size 35 × 48 × 10.5/11 mm but does not explain the slash or describe alternative seals in the pack. Obtain a dimensioned specification before treating either figure as a selectable substitute for a different fork.
Corrosion, distortion or debris in the retaining groove can prevent full seating. The stopper-ring guidance calls for cleaning and inspecting the groove and ring, then confirming that each ring snaps completely into place. New rubber seals do not resolve damaged retaining hardware.
Inspect their condition and seating arrangement first. The available stopper set contains two rings; add it when the service assessment calls for replacements rather than assuming rings are included with the seals.
