For a 2007 Honda CB900F 919 engine-service order, this selection offers cam cover seals and two sump drain items. Identify the work at the top cover or drain connection first. Then check the required count, plug thread and crush washer dimensions before buying.
Keep your late-model Honda's top end leak-free with this Cam Cover Seal, a direct replacement for OEM #90543-MV9-670. Fits the CB700SC Nighthawk plus early...
The 2007 919 uses small sealing rubbers at its cylinder-head-cover bolts and a separate washer at the oil drain. Identify where the oil is coming from before buying: a bolt rubber, the cover perimeter gasket and a drain washer seal different places.
Honda’s cylinder-head-cover parts information identifies six mounting rubbers on the standard 919. The replacement here is supplied one at a time. The larger gasket around the cover is a separate component, so a leak along the cover edge needs its own inspection and parts decision.
Keep the rest of the oil service on the list
The drain washer and magnetic plug are separate purchases. The plug’s magnet collects ferrous particles; it does not replace the oil filter or routine oil changes. Confirm whether a washer comes with the plug, and select the engine oil and filter separately using the instructions for your model year.
Practical questions
Do I need a new drain plug at every oil change?
A washer and a plug serve different jobs. Inspect the existing plug, threads and sealing seat; an undamaged correct plug does not need replacing just to buy a fresh washer. Choose the magnetic plug when its specification suits the drain and a replacement or magnetic option is wanted.
Will the small cam-cover rubber fix a leak around the cover edge?
It seals a cover-bolt position, not the entire cover perimeter. Locate the leak before ordering. If the perimeter gasket or another joint needs attention, add that separately rather than buying extra bolt rubbers in the hope of sealing a different joint.
Can a clean drain-plug magnet tell me the engine is free of wear?
No. The magnet can collect ferrous steel particles, but it does not catch non-ferrous aluminum debris or replace an oil-filter inspection. Treat what it collects as one observation, not a complete assessment of engine condition.
