Know which support or pivot you are repairing

The original seat, tank and passenger footrests use different small parts. Honda's parts listings give useful counts, but the two pins in the offered footpeg package should not be assumed to fit both passenger sides.

Count the original rubber supports

Honda's 2002 seat listing uses one B-type rubber, 77205-286-000, alongside three other seat cushions, 77206-GF0-000. The sold-each B rubber replaces its own support; it is not a complete seat-rubber set. The original 2002 tank uses two front cushions, 17611-425-000. Each offered rubber is one cushion, so order two to renew both front supports. The rear pivot and rear cushion are separate parts.

Check both passenger footrest assemblies

Honda's 2002 footrest listing includes one 95015-83000 pillion-step pin and a separate 50603-MCZ-000 step-joint pin. The offered set contains two pins and two cotter pins, but its stated replacement reference is only 95015-83000. Check each passenger side before treating it as a two-side repair kit.

Practical questions

Does one B rubber renew all the cushions beneath the seat?

No. The original seat uses one 77205-286-000 B rubber plus three 77206-GF0-000 cushions. Inspect every support and order each shape separately; a replacement seat base may differ.

Are the front tank rubbers also the rear tank supports?

No. The two 17611-425-000 cushions support the front of the original tank. Check the rear pivot and rear cushion separately if the tank still moves or sits unevenly.

Does the two-pin package prove that both passenger pegs are covered?

No. Honda lists 95015-83000 and a separate 50603-MCZ-000 joint pin in this year's footrest assembly. Confirm the required pin on each side and the offered kit's actual contents before planning a both-side repair.
