Use measured size, not an old assumption

Check the pistons and bores actually being rebuilt before choosing standard or +0.25 mm. An earlier rebore may have changed the required size. The model year establishes application, not the current repair dimension.

Compare the contents of each piston kit

Each featured piston kit supplies one piston, one pin and a pair of clips. Order matching rings separately. A separate replacement pin is useful when that is the only part required, but do not add another pin automatically to a piston kit that already supplies one.

Common questions

Are rings included with the standard piston kit?

No. The standard kit supplies a piston, a pin and two clips; rings are explicitly excluded. Select the matching ring size separately after the repair size has been established.

How many standard ring sets do I need?

One standard ring set covers one piston; four sets cover all four pistons. Order for the actual work and the selected size rather than assuming one ring package services the entire engine.

Do I need a separate piston pin with the featured kit?

Both the standard and +0.25 mm piston kits include a pin and a pair of clips. The separate pin listing is another repair option, not an automatic addition to either complete piston package.
