The 1979 CB650 swingarm pivot has a bronze-bushing option and a separate dust-cap pair in this selection. Identify the swingarm and pivot assembly before ordering, then inspect the parts as a system. A fork oil-lock serves the front fork and does not replace a swingarm pivot part.

Upgrade your swingarm bushings with this Kibblewhite High Performance Bronze Swingarm Bushing Set of 2, replacing OEM #52108-457-300 / #52108-422-300. Made in the USA...
The Kibblewhite product supplies two bronze bushings. The dust-cap set supplies two pivot-end caps. Neither package by itself establishes that every part of a worn pivot assembly is included.
The bronze bushing pair is made by Kibblewhite and explicitly lists the 1979 CB650. Confirm the actual swingarm has not been exchanged. Use the service manual to inspect the pivot and its mating parts before assuming new bushings alone complete the repair.
Keep the caps as a separate order
The two dust caps fit the ends of the swingarm pivot and replace reference 52144-362-000. Inspect their condition during disassembly. Do not substitute the front-fork oil-lock piece also present in this category; its location and purpose are unrelated.
Buying questions
Do bronze bushings make worn pivot mating parts reusable?
The listing supplies two bushings, not a complete pivot assembly or wear limits for the mating parts. Have the existing pivot inspected to the Honda procedure before assuming a material upgrade cures all play. Keep the separate end-cap and other pivot requirements on the repair list.
Are the dust caps included with the bushings?
They are offered as a separate two-cap set. Check the existing caps and add that package if the pivot service requires replacements.
Will the bronze bushings fit a later replacement swingarm?
The bushing set specifically lists the 1979 CB650. Identify a replacement swingarm and its pivot requirements before purchase rather than extending that application to a later or modified assembly.
