1979 Honda CB650 · Brake Pads, Shoes & Rod Parts Buying guide
The front selection offers Kevlar or sintered pads; the rear selection offers standard or deluxe shoes. Identify the fitted caliper or drum before comparing these options, particularly on a motorcycle with a changed front end.

Both front pad choices list the same replacement references. That does not settle which friction material suits a replacement disc; use the disc manufacturer's guidance before choosing Kevlar or sintered pads.
The linked adjusting nut replaces 95015-42000. Include it when that hardware needs replacement; new friction linings do not renew the rod's adjustment hardware.
One caliper. Both front pad products use that package basis. Order for the number of fitted calipers being serviced after confirming the pad match.
The shoe descriptions specify two shoes but do not confirm springs. A separate two-spring set is linked here. Confirm the shoe-package contents before adding springs that your inspection shows need replacement.
The deluxe pair uses Kevlar/carbon material with water grooves. It replaces the same 06430-393-405 reference as the standard two-shoe set; compare the material options for the rear drum you are servicing.
