For a filter change, inspect the original-type housing parts and order only the service pieces needed. A top-end job or a deeper engine strip needs a different sealing list. Compare each gasket package with the assemblies being opened, rather than treating every set as complete.

Check what the motorcycle now contains

A 1971 frame does not establish the identity of every component fitted today. Compare the installed engine, piston measurements and timing parts with the listing details. Where replacement engines or earlier repairs complicate identification, have the parts checked before ordering rather than relying on appearance alone.

Why can the oil seal kit leave a countershaft seal unused?

It includes alternative countershaft seals for different CB750K applications. Select the one specified for the engine fitted rather than expecting every seal in the package to be used on one engine.

Does every piston kit include rings and clips?

The standard-size listings differ: one contains a piston, pin and clips but excludes rings; another contains a piston, rings and pin but excludes clips. Read the chosen package before adding separate components.

Which cam chain guide is shown for this model?

The featured guide lists the 1969–71 CB750K and reference 14611-312-000. Its separate 1972 application has an engine-number restriction. If your motorcycle has a replacement engine, verify that engine before using the 1971 listing.
